GALLE (Citizen) - The National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID 19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) has revealed that a 23-year-old resident of Akmeemana, Galle tested positive for COVID-19 via a test conducted by a private hospital. The centre also stated that investigations are currently underway to determine how the individual in question contracted COVID-19. The patient had undergone the test because he wanted to go abroad. The centre added that the man’s brother had returned from the Kandakadu Quarantine camp.
