COLOMBO (Citizen) - Former Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundara says he had just yesterday learnt that there was a national policy regarding the nation's security. Jayasundara, who acted as the chief of police for over three years, made these statements at the inquiry into the Easter attacks being carried out by the Presidential Commission.

Upon further inquiry, he also stated that he was not aware of the Institute of National Security Studies (INSS) or that the institute made monthly reports regarding matters which threatened national security.

Today is the seventh day that former IGP Pujith Jayasundara has been called to testify regarding the Easter attacks at the Presidential Commission.
