WASHINGTON DC (Citizen) - US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump test positive for COVID-19. Announcing the news over Twitter, Trump sent out a message of solidarity for his followers. "Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!", he said in his tweet.

Trump is said to have contracted the virus from senior aide Hope Hicks. Concerns are being raised about whether or not Vice President Mike Pence has also contracted the virus as he and Trump were seen together at the Rose Garden on Monday.

Videos of Trump mocking his rival Democratic Presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden for wearing a mask all the time at the first Presidential debate have now gone viral on Twitter. The conversation on COVID-19 was the longest one at the debate, taking up 20 minutes.
